    Description

    For your consideration is the
    RARE Lionel Pennsylvania GP-7 with a TAN FRAME No. 2028.
    100% original postwar.  The
    rarity of this engine is the TAN FRAME
    as normally the frame is gold colored.  The handrails on this frame are the
    spot welded variation
    as opposed to the riveted version.   Overall condition is
    very good.
    There are no cracks or chips or rust.  However, there are numerous small paint chips along the handrails on all sides, see pic 6.  The gold lettering is somewhat faded with a rub on the letter N on one side, see pic 2.   This engine was shelf displayed for 25 years in my collection.   Not tested for operation.  No box.   I am TCA 88-28046.
