    Description

    For your consideration is the
    RARE Lionel Aquarium Car with  Gold Circle and Gold Tank 1/2 No. 3435
    .  100% original postwar.  The
    rarity of this car is threefold.
    1st
    is the gold printing.
    2nd
    is the gold Tank 1/2 designations under the windows.
    3rd
    is the gold circle around the "L."   This variation is the earliest production in 1959.  Subsequent production steadily eliminated the above considerations.
    Overall condition of this car is excellent
    .   There are no chips or cracks or scratches.   There are multiple areas where small paint flakes occurred.  Typically these flakes appear where the gold lettering stamping was made.   There is also some slight corrosion on 1 pickup bracket, see pic 7.   This car was shelf displayed for 25 years in my collection.   Not tested for operation.  No box.  I am TCA 88-28046.
