    Description

    Due to my layout space limitations, I am having to auction off a number of O scale vehicles (1/43) that were professionally weathered by Don Van Horn, an internationally known, award-winning sculpture and photographer.
    Don works out of his art gallery (the Don Van Horn Gallery) in Estes Park, Colorado and is perhaps best known for his unbelievable ability to transform pieces of wood into such unlikely objects as life-like hovering humming birds (that appear indistinguishable from the real birds) and full-size colorful carousel horses.
    Little known to most, Don is also an avid railroad modeler whose weathering techniques are perhaps unmatched for realism.
    Technically, this auction is not simply for a vehicle to help enhance the appearance of your layout; it’s for a piece of Don’s model railroading art.
