    1908 ARLINGTON COUNTRY CLUB Columbus OH GOLF BALL Badge Stamping Die * MC Lilley
    From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make a badge or emblem for the Arlington Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.  The Serial Number (#1408) dates to 1908.  The Arlington Country Club started as a horse riding club in the Grandview Heights area of Columbus and Golf became popular there in 1905.  The design includes crossed golf clubs and a large golf ball in the center.  The base dimensions are 2 ⅜” square, the top dimensions are 1 ⅞” square, and it stands 2 ⅝” high.  The die weighs 3 Lbs 12 oz and the condition is VF to Excellent.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other listings.  Free shipping is included for USA buyers.
