Käte Myers has worked as a painter, designer, and theater technician for over a decade. She has worked in many theaters in Texas, and started working professionally in the arts while still in high school. She went on to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a technical specialization in Scenic Design and Construction.

    After college, Käte apprenticed in California. She returned home to Texas, where she spent 3 years as a Resident Designer at Backdoor Theatre, before moving to the Fort Worth Metroplex.  During this time, she also worked as a member of I.A.TS.E. 378 for 5 years and worked in various places as a Contractor. After opening 'Scale It Up' in 2013, she became a Faux Finisher and Muralst. She currently works as an artist, and continues to do independent projects.
